Unique, simple and home-grown. There is a wealth of young british design talent out there; one such example is Sonodesign, who specialise in the design and production of contemporary products and furniture. The company was created in September 2007 by Grant Baker and Nick Jackson, two young and innovative designers who share a passion for designing unique, yet simple products produced in the UK.

This partnership was formed during the duos time spent studying furniture and product design at university. It was here that their desire for creating accessible products for the retail market developed, prompting them to start their own design venture.

Setup straight out of university and still in its maiden year of trading, sonodesign has acquired some impressive stockists worldwide including Purves and Purves, Selfridges and the Design Museum. With this base and the brand constantly increasing their collection this British design duo are defiantly ones to watch.
