Don’t trust computers, put your faith in religion! Sometimes you need a bit of divine intervention to help keep your computer files safe, which is where a USB Maria memory stick from ABR Production can help. The Virgin Mary styled memory stick inscribed with the words, “Oh Maria, keep my data safe” was designed by Luis Eslava, who, while we’re on the subject of religion, is a bit of a god to me!
ABR Production also do some other great design products, so go and check that out.

Bathroom products you want to cuddle. I’ve never wanted a soap dispenser as a secret friend before, but now I do. Designed by Marta Lago, for the amazing Spanish company B-Sign, the Pingu Soap Dispenser says:
Hello, I am Pingu Soap Dispenser, I’ll look after your favorite soap. I’m looking for hands that need me.
Why aren’t all household products shaped like friendly penguins?
B-Sign is a wonderfully quirky fun company with a load of products that reflect that personality, so go and see what else they’ve got.

More wallpaper to scribble on! Words Spoken Quieter Than Actions by Chloe Perron for Rollout Custom Wallpapers is a series of empty speech bubbles printed onto wallpaper, that then allows individuals to jot down their own thoughts and verses into the awaiting speech bubbles. A great idea, but I dread to think what some people would end up writing in the spaces.
Rollout Custom Wallpapers do some other amazing wallpaper deisgns, so go and check out the rest of their range.

Germans, Guns & Photography. I have no idea what the german text accompanying this project is all about, all I know is that I want a gun-shaped camera. Running around the streets photo-shooting people in the face seems like a fun day out to me!
If you read German, find out more here.

Random hanging thingymabob. I absolutely love the complete functionlessness of Veer by Mike & Maaike. The double cantilevered hanging mobile has no other purpose other than to just float around in space, rotating with the slightest air movements, and look cool.
Babies get them over their beds, so why don’t grown-ups have their own super-modern version above their own?

Sometime you need a table cloth that looks radioactive, don’t you? OK, maybe you don’t, but the Luminous Fiber Optic Tablecloth would look totally cool outside for somekind of midnight summer feast.

Place flowers in your garbage. The Frame Vase from Momento.be is a great idea.
The design of Framevase encourages users to reuse bottles and containers they consumed and therefore prolong the product’s life. Different bottles can be slot into the framevase, and when the vase is flipped it becomes another design which uses containers to hold the flowers. Each time a different container is changed, a new vase has born. And the vase itself is like an everchanging photo frame that captures the essence of flowers and beauty of each container that we might have missed before.

My desk is a wasteland of discarded and chewed bic pen tops. It’s a horrible habit, but I essentially eat any pen that I use. It seems I’m not alone in this pen-chewing fetish, and Feel Addicted have developed a product for this market: a range of eadible bic pen tops that come in 5 sweety flavours!
