Recycled Material Lamps from Nultien

Recycled Materials are so 2007! I don’t read dutch, or whatever the language is used on the Nultien website, but these products are very cool. I particularly like the lamps made out of recycled materials.

One Line Drawings.

One Line Drawings

This is even more random than usual for me. I saved this link to a bunch of these strange wall doodles under the words “One Line Drawings”. I can’t remember where I found the link, and the websites is all in german, so I have no idea what it’s all about.

However, if you like random scribble-type drawings on walls too, I thought I’d share the link with you.

Use Two by Birgit Jobst.

Use Two by Birgit Jobst

Great design for small kitchens. If you’ve got a small kitchen and need to save on cupboard space, the Use Two range by Birgit Jobst is a great idea. Each item doubles up as a different sized plate, bowl or cup by turning it over, giving you two bowls that takes up the space of one. Plus they look cool regardless of their extra design function.

Plain Table.

Plaintable by Goss Industrial Design

Fuctional, simple and stylish table. I really like this table by Goss Industrial Design. The built-in plastic bowls and other options running down the centre is a great idea. I just wish I spoke german so I could understand the accompanying text blurb with the table (the table is featured under ‘plaintable’ in thier ‘portfolio’, if you’re trying to find it).

I’m Not Dead. January 12, 2007

broken spine

Sorry about the complete lack of posts for a while. I somehow managed to damage my back over the Christmas period, leaving me temporarily unable to walk, or sit at a computer. Writing Things of Random Coolness whilst screaming in agony didn’t really appeal to me, so I decided to have an extended break until I recovered. Anyway, I seem to be on the mend now, so I’ll be back on Monday.

Have a good weekend!
